On behalf of Consul Sheryll Gabutero, Honorary Officer Shawn Nibre attended Brisbane City Council’s International Internship Program Thank You Reception on 15 May 2026 at Brisbane City Hall.
Hosted by the Lord Mayor’s Administration and Engagement, the reception brought together interns, business representatives, and distinguished guests, including the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Adrian Schrinner (seen in the middle of the group photo), to celebrate the achievements of the program’s participants and recognise the invaluable role of international talent in Brisbane’s growing community.
The Philippine Consulate extends its congratulations to the Filipino intern, Ms Erika Mae Imperial, recognised during the event and looks forward to continuing to support their contributions to Brisbane’s international community.
