Consul Sheryll Gabutero of the Philippine Consulate in Queensland attended the Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) International Women’s Day event in at the Calile Hotel in Brisbane on 10 March 2026, representing the Philippine Department of Tourism (Sydney Office).
During the event, Consul Gabutero presented the prize draw sponsored by Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, featuring two travel packages including stays at The Chancellor Hotel Boracay and Kingsford Hotel Manila.
Consul Gabutero attended on behalf of Ms Cassandra Sta Maria-Comonggol, Officer-in-Charge of the Philippine Department of Tourism, Sydney, supporting efforts to promote the Philippines as a premier destination for Australian travellers.
