His Excellency, Ambassador Antonio Morales, met with Filipino community leaders and members at a Meet and Greet held at Euphoria Espresso Café in Robina, Gold Coast on 4 March 2026, ahead of his attendance at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup match between Philippines and South Korea at Gold Coast Stadium.
The Ambassador was accompanied by Vice-Consul Angela Laurente of the Philippine Embassy in Canberra and Consul Sheryll Gabutero of the Philippine Consulate in Queensland. The gathering provided an opportunity for the Ambassador to connect with Filipino community leaders, hear about their initiatives, and strengthen ties with the vibrant Filipino-Australian community in Queensland.
Consul Gabutero extends her appreciation to Euphoria Espresso Café owners Esther and Richard Hoy for graciously hosting the event, and to the Honorary Consulate Officers for their continued support in bringing the community together. Guests were treated to lively entertainment by the talented performers of D&G Entertainment, adding warmth and celebration to the evening.
