14 June 2024 – On invitation from Pinky Singh OAM, the Philippine Consulate and friends of the Consulate was invited to the Qld Multicultural Community Charitable Event held at Queensland Parliament house. This event brought together leaders, community members, and organizations to promote inclusivity, unity, and cross-cultural understanding within the state. David Crisafulli, the Leader of the Opposition, was among the key attendees, emphasizing the importance of multiculturalism in Queensland’s social fabric. In attendance were President of Filipino Brisbane Australia Society (FABs) Dixie Morante and President of Ilocano Ti Australia Chris Ramos.Â
