GENERAL GUIDELINES
APPOINTMENT REQUIRED. All consular services are strictly by appointment only; one person per appointment slot. Make sure to book one ahead of time.
CASH PAYMENTS. Payments must be made in AUD (Australian Dollars) and in cash only. Be sure to bring the correct amount.
VALID IDENTIFICATIONS. Bring original and valid government-issued IDs with you on your appointment. This is crucial for verifying your identity.
DOCUMENTS PREPARATION. The forms must be filled out correctly but unsigned. The consular staff will witness your signature during your appointment.
NOTARIZATION SERVICE ONLY. The consulate's role is limited to notarizing or acknowledging the documents and witnessing the signatures. If you need assistance with drafting or legal advice related to your documents, you should consult a lawyer or other appropriate professional before your appointment.
MAIL AND COURIER. The consulate will only send documents to your Australian address using the envelope provided. The consulate is not responsible for any delays, losses, or damages during mailing or while the documents are in the custody of courier services. It is your responsibility to handle any further processing and sending the documents to the Philippines to the relevant departments or offices.
